Join our 2025 Summer Intern Program, a career-launching opportunity decades in the making.

  • A stipend of $2,856 (tax-exempt!) plus travel assistance of $100–$300, based on expenses.

Your Role in the 2025 Festival

As a Pillow Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to one of the world’s most prestigious dance festivals while gaining hands-on experience tailored to your interests. With 11 different departments to choose from, you can immerse yourself in areas like:

Archives / Audience Engagement

Be part of preserving dance history while engaging with visitors and managing archival materials.

Audience Development

Help expand our audience base by building strong community relationships and executing strategic initiatives.

Community Engagement

Create meaningful programs for participants of all ages, combining event management and relationship-building skills.

Company Management

Take charge of artist services and campus logistics in a fast-paced, multi-venue festival environment.

Digital Marketing

Shape our digital presence through email campaigns, website updates, and live stream support.

Patron Services

Deliver memorable experiences to guests by supporting ticketing, box office operations, and front-of-house activities.

Philanthropy

Gain firsthand fundraising experience, assisting with donor events, membership programs, and VIP cultivation.

Production

Be at the heart of the action, working on backstage operations, set-ups, and load-ins across multiple venues.

Public Relations

Help craft our public image by managing press materials, media coverage, and communications.

School Programs

Support dancers and faculty during professional intensives, coordinating logistics and public events.

Video Documentation

Capture the magic of the Festival with hands-on experience in video production and archival management.
